Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Students and graduates from Korean school and Korean primary, middle and high school in Hiroshima filed a suit in the Hiroshima District Court on August 1 in protest against the Japanese government's unjust policy of discrimination against Korean schools. They accused the Japanese authorities of excluding the Korean schools from the list of tuition-waiver program under the groundless pretexts that "there is no progress in the issue of abductees" and "it is hard to get understanding from Japanese," adding that this was a gross violation of law." They vowed to defend the Korean schools, the cradle of Korean students' life, and their right to learn, no matter what may happen. We will widely inform Japanese society of the feelings of Koreans through a court struggle and call on many people to pay attention and render support to our demand, they declared. |
