DPRK's War Victory Day Marked in DPRK Consulate General in Nakhodka
Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- The Kimjongilia show, Korean book and photo exhibition and film show took place in the DPRK consulate general in Nakhodka, Russia, on July 26. They were to mark the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Displayed in the venues were photos documenting the exploits by President Kim Il Sung in winning the war and the feats by leader Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un in their Songun leadership.

Also on display were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and photos of the heroic service personnel and people of the DPRK during the war.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the full-length picture of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid respects.

The mayor of Nakhodka City voiced his expectation that the friendly bonds and the creative cooperation between the peoples of the two countries would make contributions to defending peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.

The first vice president of the Nakhodka City Assembly said the victory of the Korean people in the war was a great victory of the independent people and a historic event which demonstrated that no one could match the army and people, united close around the leader.

The secretary of the Political Council of the Nakhodka City Branch of the Maritime Territory of the United Russia Party said Korean- style socialism is victoriously advancing despite storm and stress as it is led by Kim Jong Un.

The first secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Maritime Territory of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation noted that the Fatherland Liberation War was a righteous struggle of the Korean people as well as the process in which the Korean people displayed loyalty to their leader and the ardent love for the country.

He expressed his conviction that the Workers' Party of Korea would victoriously lead the struggle of the Korean people to build a thriving nation and reunify the country, upholding Kim Jong Un.
