Minju Joson Exposes Danger of U.S. Cyber Attack Strategy
Pyongyang, August 10 (KCNA) -- Foreign media cited the data disclosed by U.S. ex-CIA contractor Edward Snowden to expose that last year the U.S. president gave instructions to the top government officials and heads of intelligence organizations to set the target of cyber attack within six months.

This shows that the U.S. regards internet as the "fifth battle space" after ground, sea, sky and outer space and prepares for a total war to hold military supremacy in it, Minju Joson Saturday says in a commentary.

The U.S. cyber attack strategy is a big crime in view of its unjust objective and likely consequences, the commentary says, adding:

In the top-secret document "PPD 20" the U.S. termed the cyber attack an indispensable capability to restrain and overthrow the enemy doing harm to the U.S. interests in times of peace and war.

This means that the U.S. is ready to mount a fierce cyber attack on anyone going against the grain with it any moment.

The cyber attack in internet network may bring irrevocable financial and material damage to the opponent side in a moment.

This is nothing but an open threat to mankind and the declaration of the cyber war.

The U.S. move can never be justified as it is aimed to make the internet network, which should contribute to civilization and development of mankind, a tool for implementing its strategy for world domination.

The U.S. has to stop at once the anachronistic acts stemming the advance of mankind to peace, prosperity and development.
