Italian Parliamentarian on His Impression of Visit to DPRK

Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- Antonio Lazi, a senator of Italy who led the delegation of the Parliament of Italy to the DPRK recently, praised the personality of supreme leader Kim Jong Un as a great men. He took part in the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

In an interview with a reporter of the Il Centro on August 4 he said he attended the celebrations, adding:

I was deeply moved to visit Pyongyang for the first time.

This time I participated in the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the war and had the audience of the leader of the country. When I introduced I was an Italian, Marshal Kim Jong Un made a warm smile on his face.

He is a very simple and kind man. He loves all sports events including basketball.

Accusations of the DPRK by the Western media outlets are far from the fact.

The DPRK is a very stable country. Streets are beautiful and clean with lots of new ultra-high apartment houses.

Referring to the relations between Italy and the DPRK, the senator recommended all people to visit the DPRK. Italians should visit the DPRK first before commenting on it, he added.
