S. Korea Hit Hard by Heat Wave

| Pyongyang, August 12 (KCNA) -- South Korea was hit hard by unabated heat wave, according to CBS of south Korea on Friday. The sweltering heat left several persons dead and caused more than 660 fever cases. Over 786,000 domestic animals including pigs, chickens and ducks died at farmhouses. The temperature on railways in North Kyongsang Province rose to over 55 degrees centigrade on Friday, the CBS reported. |
