Religionists, students studying in the U.S. and other Koreans held a candlelight rally in Los Angeles.

Speakers at the rally declared that the south Korean "president" could not be recognized as the IS's interference in the election was illegal.

They accused the south Korean authorities and the "Saenuri Party" of barring not only south Korean media but media of overseas Koreans from covering news about the actions against the illegal acts of the IS.

The south Korean political camp is violating democracy, but it can never blow out the candlelight of the people for democracy, they declared.

In New York, Koreans of different social standings staged a candlelight demo, shouting slogans demanding probe into the truth behind the IS's interference in the election, punishment of the chief culprit and resignation of the present chief executive of south Korea. They were holding such placards as "Dismantle IS, Park Geun-Hye, step down ", "Park Chung-Hee staged a military coup and Park Geun-Hye carried out an election coup" and "We denounce IS's interference in the election".
