Foreign Papers Praise Koreans
Pyongyang, August 14 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The Libyan paper February on August 1 carried a special write-up under the headline "On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the DPRK's victory in the war" illustrated with a photo of supreme leader Kim Jong Un standing on the platform of Kim Il Sung Square.

The paper in an article said:

An event beyond imagination occurred in the East six decades ago.

The U.S. which boasted of being the "strongest" in the world kneeled down before the young DPRK.

The losses suffered by the U.S. in the three-year long Korean war were beyond imagination.

The U.S. signed the Armistice Agreement, a surrender document, in the world's eyes on July 27, 1953.

The Nepalese newspaper Gorkha Express on July 30 carried a special write-up with a photo of Kim Jong Un.

The paper in an article titled "How was the Korean war occurred" elaborated on the circumstances of the Korean war which was called the fiercest war since the World War II downward.

The British newspaper The New Worker on July 19 carried an article titled "War is incompatible with peace".

The paper said although the sound of firing stopped on the Korean Peninsula the new war provocation moves of the U.S. and south Korean puppet warmongers continue with an aim at invasion of the DPRK.

A Hungarian newspaper on July 20 carried an article which said:

Through the Korean war the progressive mankind realized that there is only one leader in the world as great as President Kim Il Sung.

Today Kim Jong Un is leading the Korean people at the supreme posts of the party and the state.

The world sees the DPRK achieving new great successes in the way of socialism under his leadership.
