Thousands of pieces have been contributed during the literary pieces prize contest this year.

They included children's poem "Breeze on Mangyong Hill", children's song "Jeep of the General" and collection of children's poems "Larch of Mt. Paektu" telling about deep reverence for the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and firm will to be faithful to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Children's poem "Biggest Fortune", collections of children's poems "I am delegate to Children's Union conference" and "Happy children" and other pieces truthfully portray the pride and self-esteem of the new generation holding Kim Jong Un in high esteem as father of the big socialist family.

Some pieces reflect school youth and children growing up to be pillars of powerful and prosperous Korea, being equipped with knowledge, a good moral character and good health.

A ceremony of awarding the prize took place at the Central Youth Hall Wednesday.
