The message said:

I am pleased to wish Your Excellency and the friendly Korean people peace, reconciliation and prosperity on behalf of the people and the government of Cote d'Ivoire and on my own behalf on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War and the conclusion of the Armistice Agreement.

I am convinced that the good relations of friendship and cooperation between our two countries would grow stronger in the mutual interests of the two peoples thanks to our concerted efforts.
