The long period since the national liberation is a history of great struggle and innovation in which the DPRK set an example in the building of genuine socialism where its people have become masters under the great leader and party. It is also a proud history in which the DPRK has translated the cherished desires of the popular masses into a brilliant reality.

Today's high dignity and honor of the Korean people, all the valuable wealth on this land are a precious fruition of the leadership of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, who sowed the seeds of happiness on the land of people and devoted their whole lives to it. In the DPRK the party is wholly responsible for the destiny of the people. Its power organ has also been developed into the one responsible for the people's living as the servant of the people and its army has demonstrated its might as the genuine people's revolutionary forces defending the people's freedom and happiness.

The sacred history of the great Generalissimos characterized by their idea of believing in the people as in Heaven is now given steady continuity by Kim Jong Un.

It is a firm intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to bring about a radical turn in the improvement of people's standard of living in a short period of time, as required by the building of a thriving nation, and thus make the people fully enjoy wealth and prosperity under socialism.

Now the country is exerting its bigger efforts to raise the people's standard of living under the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Un. All the people are making dynamic efforts to increase production in all fields of the national economy, actively accelerating the development of agriculture and light industry, true to Kim Jong Un's new year address. Modern production bases conducive to the people's living have been built in various parts of the country amid a high-pitched drive of construction for the promotion of people's health and their highly civilized life, as evidenced by the building of the children's hospital, dental hospital and apartment houses for scientists, etc.

Minju Joson says the Korean people will surely achieve a final victory in the building of an economic power as they are led by Kim Jong Un, being blessed with the great Generalissimos.
