Kim Il Sung's Exploits for Nation-building Lauded by Swiss Organization
Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Preparatory Committee for Celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the DPRK issued a statement at its inaugural ceremony on August 9.

The statement said:

As President Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK, the Korean people could greet the happiest event in their history spanning 5,000 years.

The young DPRK won a shining victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War fought against the U.S. imperialist aggressors under the leadership of Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, an invincible and iron-willed commander.

The Korean people and army achieved a historic victory in the war, beating back the U.S. imperialists' criminal and barbarous invasion aimed to swallow up the DPRK and protecting the independence and sovereignty of the country.

By successfully applying the idea of Korean-style socialist construction for decades, Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a country which is free from taxes and where the systems of free education and free medical care are in force and all the people are provided with jobs and houses.

The DPRK has developed into an independent, self-supporting and modern socialist state centered on the popular masses, guided by the great Juche idea and Songun idea.

Thanks to the Songun politics enforced by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the DPRK has turned into an invulnerable bulwark, an invincible fortress of socialism capable of beating back any formidable enemy.

The Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK have made vigorous endeavors to achieve the reunification of the country under the outstanding leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Marshal Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the party, state and army, is energetically leading the struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving the reunification of the country, true to the behests of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
