The Bangladeshi newspaper Natun Bangla on August 11 said in an article titled "Benefactor of liberation" that it was President Kim Il Sung who liberated the Korean people from the destiny of the Japanese imperialist colonial slaves.

The exploits performed by the President, the liberator of the country, are deeply cherished in the minds of the Korean people and progressive humankind at all times.

The Nepalese newspaper Nepal Today on August 8 noted in an article titled "Event to be specially recorded in the history of the Korean nation" that the August 15 liberation was the event to be specially recorded in the history of the Korean nation and this marked the beginning of a new history of socialist Korea.

It continued:

The Korean people, who greeted the new day of national resurrection under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung, founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the first people's democratic state in the East, and pave a wide avenue for building new society.

Socialist Korea built by Kim Il Sung and developed by leader Kim Jong Il fully demonstrated its vitality when the East European socialist countries collapsed.
