Supreme leader Kim Jong Un received gifts from state, government, political party leaders and personages of different countries including the presidents of Uganda, Namibia and Zambia, the Bangladeshi government, Workers' World Party of the United States of America, National Democratic Party of Mongolia, Islamic Coalition Party of Iran and the chairman of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar.

Kim Jong Un was awarded gold order "Star of International Friendship" by the Germany-Ukraine Centre.

A co-chairman of the Council of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, chief secretary of China Hong Kong Zhonghwa Energy Fund Commission, chairwoman of the Party for Peace ad Unity of Russia, chairman of the Moscow War Veterans' Committee, president of the Khmer Democratic Party of Cambodia, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), general chairman of the Central Directive Council of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle, president of the Bangladesh People's League, chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association and other personages paid congratulatory visits to the DPRK missions in those countries and sent there floral baskets.

A book "Rays of Great Victory" was published in Russia.

A Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia exhibition and Korean fine art exhibition took place in China, a national seminar in India and a national meeting in Peru and an Asia-Pacific regional internet seminar was held. Such events took place in more than 100 countries and regions.

Colorful events were significantly held under the sponsorship of the preparatory committees for celebrating the anniversary, governments, political parties and organizations of different countries and international and regional bodies. At the events personages of different social standings praised the exploits Generalissimo Kim Il Sung performed by winning the victory in the war and the Songun revolutionary exploits of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.

Foreign political parties and organizations including the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru, Communist Party of Argentina, Romanian Socialist Union, National Salvation Front of Russia and the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association released statements and bulletins and posted articles on their websites in praise of the undying exploits of Kim Il Sung.

At least 200 media of different countries including the China Hong Kong magazine International Link, Russian newspaper Veteran, Indian newspaper New Delhi Times, Pakistani newspaper Baluchistan Times, DR Congo newspaper La Prosperite, Uruguayan paper La Juventud and the Ecuadorian TV broadcasting service carried special write-ups or aired special programs.

They highly praised Kim Il Sung for working unprecedented military miracles, saying that he saw through the enemies' attempts with far-sighted wisdom and created superb strategy, tactics and war methods during the Fatherland Liberation War.

Citing concrete historical facts proving that the U.S. ignited the Korean War and suffered an inevitable defeat, they stressed the significance of the war victory of the DPRK army and people in the world history.

Under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un the army and people of the DPRK will glorify forever the history and tradition of sure victory and surely build a thriving socialist nation, they added.
