On display there were more than 26 900 pieces of consumer goods made by sideline workteams of factories and housewives' workteams with by-products.

Highly appreciated were the exhibits presented by the Songyo Knitted Goods Factory, housewives' workteams of Sosong and Tongdaewon districts in Pyongyang and Chollima District in Nampho, Sinuiju Enameled Ironware Factory and Pakchon Silk Mill.

On the sidelines of the exhibition there was a toy show which featured some 100 pieces of toys presented by provinces and cities, including Pyongyang and Nampho cities, North Phyongan and Kangwon provinces.

In this regard KCNA met Kwon Yong Il, a department director of the Nampho City People's Committee.

Kwon said:

Marshal Kim Jong Un said it is useless to make low-quality goods which consumers do not want.

The city has paid deep attention to improving the quality of goods so that it could display varieties of quality goods here.

Particularly, the spikes and table-tennis shoes made by daily necessaries workteams are very popular among the users.

We will further improve the quality and packaging of goods to be better than other countries' goods.
