Displayed there are at least 3 500 consumer goods of more than 200 varieties manufactured by daily necessities producers including national and local light industrial factories and other industrial establishments under the ministries and national institutions.

There will take place a workshop on scientific and technological issues arising in producing consumer goods and visits to daily necessities factories including the Pyongyang Aromatic Factory during the exhibition.

An opening ceremony was held at the consumer goods exhibition hall of the Ministry of Food and Consumer Goods Industries.

Present there were officials concerned and officials, technicians and producers of units which presented goods.

Jo Yong Chol, minister of Food and Consumer Goods Industries, made an opening address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round the exhibition hall.

The exhibition will last till August 23.
