Schoolchildren's Swimming Game for Jongilbong Prize Held

| Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- There took place a swimming game of the 39th National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize at the swimming pool of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace from August 16 to 20. The game brought together about 500 schoolboys and schoolgirls across the country who contested, being divided into three sectors--senior secondary school, junior secondary school and primary school. Boys of Mangum Senior Secondary School in Sariwon City and girls of Ri Chol Min Senior Secondary School in Central District, Pyongyang City came first among the senior secondary schools. The winners in the sector of junior secondary schools were boys of Phalgol Junior Secondary School in Mangyongdae District and girls of Tonghung Junior Secondary School in Central District. Boys of Janggyong Primary School, Sosong District and girls of Pyongyang Primary School No. 4 came first in total standings in the sector of primary schools. |
