A Nepali paper on Aug. 16 carried an article "For peace" with a photo of leader Kim Jong Il.

The paper in an article sub-titled "For most precious peace" said it is impossible to protect the sovereignty of the country and dignity of the nation, far from defending peace, when its might is weak. The DPRK is looking to directing efforts to economic construction and improving the people's living standard in peaceful environment, it added.

The Bangladeshi paper The Daily Folk on Aug. 15 carried an article titled "Immortal Songun exploits" which said:

Kim Jong Il started the Songun revolutionary leadership on Aug. 25, 1960.

Under his Songun revolutionary leadership the army and people of the DPRK formed the invincible single-minded unity around the party.

His Songun revolutionary leadership is being successfully carried forward by Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un.

The Cambodian F. M. 90.5 Radio on Aug. 13 reported an article titled "Songun politics is example of independent politics".

The Songun politics of the DPRK is one for protecting and achieving independence of the country and nation and reflecting independent demand and desire of the popular masses, it said, and went on:

The DPRK put forward the army as the driving force of the revolution as it has the revolutionary spirit, sense of organization and combat capability stronger than any other class and social strata.

The Songun politics of the DPRK is the example of independent politics for decisively countering without the slightest concession or compromise the acts hurting its sovereignty and dignity.
