Rungna Dolphinarium Crowded with Visitors

| Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Rungna Dolphinarium is one of destinations along with out-door wading pool and amusement facilities in the Rungna People's Pleasure Park, which is located in Rungna Islet on the River Taedong flowing across the heart of the capital city of Pyongyang. An increasing number of people have come to the dolphinarium nowadays to enjoy dolphins' stunts. In particular, synchronized swimming performed by a female trainer and dolphins evokes bursts of cheers from spectators. Among dolphins' stunts are their movements of greetings as well as their movements redolent of parade. It is also amazing that dolphins skillfully respond to the spectators' applauses. Everyone bursts into laughter when a dolphin kisses a girl at a trainer's instruction. It is said that the number of visitors to the dolphinarium has reached a total of 650 000 since July last year. |
