Prime Minister of DR Congo Meets DPRK Government Delegation
Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Augustin Matata Ponyo, prime minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo, met and had a talk with the DPRK government delegation headed by Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun on a visit to his country at his office on Aug. 19.

He mentioned the great exploits the preceding leaders of the DPRK performed on behalf of the times and history.

He sincerely congratulated the DPRK on its big achievements under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He reiterated his will to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with a long history and tradition, hoping that the multi-faceted cooperation with the DPRK would be promoted.

He extended support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for the peaceful reunification of the country.

Present there from the DPRK side were members of the DPRK government delegation on a visit to the DR Congo and the DPRK ambassador to the country and from the side of the DR Congo the acting minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophone Affairs and the advisor on foreign affairs of the prime minister's office.
