Milton Burbano Borquez, chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events including a meeting, film show and lecture on the occasion of the birthday of the DPRK, September 9.
