The message reads in full:

I send warm congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK government and all the fraternal Korean people on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the Lao government and people and on my own behalf on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the DPRK.

I am pleased that the DPRK holding you in high esteem as supreme leader is registering big successes in its noble work to reliably defend and build the country and further improve the people's living standard and the good and traditional friendly and cooperative relations between Laos and the DPRK are growing stronger in the interests of the peoples of the two countries and in conformity with peace, stability and cooperation in the region and rest of the world.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish you good health and happiness and steady, new and bigger success in the efforts to accomplish the noble cause of defending and building the country and achieve the peaceful reunification of the country by leading the DPRK.
