Sinchang-ri is associated with the revolutionary history of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk who worked heart and soul to develop the country's agriculture and bring happiness to the people.

The officials of the province and the county and agricultural workers of the Sinchang Cooperative Farm erected the monument with natural granite with their single desire to eternally glorify the leadership feats of the great persons.

An unveiling ceremony took place on the spot.
