DPRK Women Boxers Prove Successful at Int'l Tournament

| Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- DPRK women boxers proved successful at the 3rd Taiwan international boxing tournament. The tournament took place in Taipei of China from Aug. 15 to 18. It brought together boxers of 16 countries and regions including the DPRK, Thailand, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Hong Kong of China. Ri Hyang Mi and Ri Kwang Suk bested their rivals to place first in 51 kg and 60 kg categories respectively. U Yong Gum and Kim Hyang Mi finished second in 48 kg and 51 kg categories. |
