Placed before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il was a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the Central Military Commission of the WPK, the DPRK National Defence Commission, the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet.

The participants paid tribute to the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in humblest reverence.

They entered the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state and made a bow to him.

They went round the hall where orders he received are on display and the hall which houses a car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him during his field guidance and foreign trips till the last moments of his life.

Service personnel, officials and other people of different units of Pyongyang and local areas visited the sacred temple of Juche to pay homage to him.
