Youth and students gathered in the venues of dancing parties in Pyongyang including the plazas of the Monument to Party Founding, the April 25 House of Culture and the Arch of Triumph, with the ardent longing for General Secretary Kim Jong Il and pride and self-confidence with which they are creating miracles and innovations in building a thriving nation under the Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

When the song "Long Live the Great Songun Commander" resounded forth amid the profound reverence for Kim Jong Il, youth and students presented cheerful dances.

Dancers became more jovial and enthusiastic when the band played songs "Our General Is the Best" and "Let's Sing of General Dear to People" praising the immortal Songun feats of the brilliant commander of Mt. Paektu.

They enthusiastically danced, singing such songs as "I Will Dedicate My Youth to the Country" and "We Will Hold Our General in High Esteem" reflecting the strong will of the young vanguard to dynamically advance at all times, holding Kim Jong Un in high esteem.

Dancing parties of youth and students took place in every provincial capital on the same day.
