The chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania said August 25 is a significant day when Kim Jong Il started his Songun revolutionary leadership.

He clarified the principle of Songun and paid deep attention to enabling the Korean People's Army to discharge its duty and mission as the army of the party, leader and people, the chairman said, and went on:

The KPA is smashing the U.S. and its followers' maneuvers to stifle the DPRK, being equipped with both powerful offensive and defensive means and this would be unthinkable without the exploits of Kim Jong Il.

The dean of the music faculty of Guinean Art College said Kim Jong Il inspected many KPA units to strengthen the army into the pillar of the country and main force of Songun revolution. During his inspection he used to watch art performances given by soldiers and saw to it that whole society learned from the soldiers' revolutionary and optimistic traits and way of life.
