S. Korean Social Body Condemns S. Korea-Japan Joint Military Drill
Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The council for the solution of the issue of the volunteers corps in south Korea issued a statement condemning the south Korea-Japan joint military drill on Aug. 21. Calling the drill a move for spurring the revival of Japan's militarism the statement denounced the south Korean air force and Japan's air "self-defense force" of waging Red Flag, the U.S.-led joint military drill, in Alaska State.

This would provide a momentum for Japan's undisguised move to revive militarism such as the visit to Yasukuni Shrine, said the statement.

It added that Japan has refused to punish those who committed organized and unethical crimes and has made no apology and compensation to the victims for 68 years.

It urged Japan to resolve the issue of the sexual slavery and halt the move for the revival of militarism at once, well aware of the opinion of the international community.
