He said:

Kim Jong Il was a great man possessed of wisdom, strategy and grit as a brilliant Songun commander.

He formulated Songun politics as a main political mode under socialism and pursued it in all fields with far-sighted wisdom and rare insight when the Korean revolution faced the worst ordeals.

He developed the army into an invincible revolutionary army with his Songun politics and put the DPRK on the position of a world-class military power.

Thanks to the great Songun politics the Korean people are demonstrating their independent dignity before the whole world and winning one victory after another, undeterred by any challenge of the U.S. and its allies and their moves to stifle the DPRK.

His Songun revolutionary leadership has been creditably carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The New Yugoslav Communist Party extends full support and solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their dynamic advance towards a final victory holding aloft the banner of Songun, single-mindedly united around Kim Jong Un.
