With sports enthusiasm running high throughout the country, students have fully displayed their skills in the games.

In table-tennis, Kim Il Sung University came first in men's and women's events. The second and third places were taken by Kim Chaek University of Technology and Pyongyang Medical College under Kim Il Sung University in men's events and by Kim Hyong Jik University of Education and Kim Chol Ju University of Education in women's events.

In badminton, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education won the titles in men's and women's events. Pyongyang University of Foreign Studies finished second in men's and women's events while Kim Chaek University of Technology came third in men's events and Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce in women's events.

In Ssirum (Korean wrestling), Kim Hyong Jik University of Education took the title.

In a tug of war, Kim Il Sung University placed first, Kim Chol Ju University of Education second and Pyongyang Medical College under Kim Il Sung University third.

Final matches of football, basketball, volleyball and track-and-field will take place on the Youth Day.
