Meetings, reading sessions and film shows were held in Benin, Nigeria and Malaysia on August 21.

Films shown included Korean film "Arms of Korea".

The president of the Socialist Party of Benin said:

General Secretary Kim Jong Il opened up a new era of prosperity unprecedented in the history of the Korean nation spanning five thousands of years through his over half a century-long Songun revolutionary leadership.

He turned the DPRK into a political and ideological power.

He put forward the Korean People's Army as the pillar and main force for the socialist cause and saw to it that whole society learned from the revolutionary soldier spirit displayed by the service personnel.

The chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy and members of the group noted that Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership is being given steady continuity by supreme leader Kim Jong Un. They praised him as a peerlessly great man with outstanding leadership ability, gifted commanding art and noble virtues.

The director of the Global Marketing Company of Malaysia said that President Kim Il Sung was the great brilliant commander who gave origin to Songun, defeated two imperialisms in one generation and defended the sovereignty of the country, adding:

As it has the strong military muscle, the DPRK is stepping up the building of a thriving socialist nation while shattering the moves of the U.S. styling itself the only superpower and its followers to stifle the DPRK.

Rosy is the future of the DPRK as Kim Jong Un is successfully carrying forward the Songun politics.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting held in Benin.
