Dancing Parties Mark Youth Day

Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- There took place dancing parties of young people in different parts of the DPRK to celebrate the Youth Day. Young people thronged dancing venues here including the plazas of the Monument to Party Founding and the April 25 House of Culture. They danced merrily and happily with gratitude for General Secretary Kim Jong Il, who put forward the young people as the flower of the country and the nation and the most vibrant force of society. They danced to the tune of songs like "A Dear Name" and "Our General Is the Best". Singing "Ongheya", "Nodul Riverside" and other songs they represented the pride and self-esteem of young people leading a worthwhile life and enjoying happiness under the care of the mother party. Songs "I Will Dedicate My Youth to Motherland", "At a Go" and "It Is Offensive" reflective of the spirit of young vanguard and other songs like "July 27 March", "Holiday of Great War Victory" and "The Masters of This Land Tell" resounded forth, adding to the festive mood. There took place similar dancing parties in the provincial seats, cities and counties. |
