Agreement on Organizing and Operating North-South Joint Committee for KIZ Adopted

| Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- The north and the south Wednesday adopted an agreement on organizing and operating the north-south joint committee for the Kaesong Industrial Zone (KIZ) as a practical measure for the implementation of the agreement on normalizing operation in the KIZ. The north and the south decided to organize the joint committee, set up a permanent office and necessary sections under it and consult and solve the issues arising in the course of operating the KIZ. It was agreed to hold the 1st session of the North-South Joint Committee for the KIZ in the zone on September 2. |
