Romanian Figure Marks DPRK's Day of Songun

| Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, on Aug. 22 posted on its internet website an article titled "Songun revolutionary leadership of H.E. General Secretary Kim Jong Il: Korean People's Army (KPA) is a strong fortress for victory in the revolution" to mark the 53rd Day of Songun in the DPRK. He said as follows: Kim Jong Il gave on-the-spot guidance to Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the KPA on Aug. 25, 1960. This marked the start of the Songun leadership by Kim Jong Il, great successor to the revolutionary cause of H.E. Kim Il Sung, eternal President of the DPRK. Kim Jong Il defined the KPA as the main force of the revolution and firmly established the Workers' Party of Korea's leadership over the KPA. He worked his heart and soul so that the people's army had politico-ideological, material and technical foundation to fight the modern war. In fact, the immortal exploits he performed in strengthening the KPA, will shine long in the history of Korea. The Songun revolutionary leadership started and developed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is now successfully carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un. Thank to the Songun revolutionary leadership, the KPA has further developed into invincible revolutionary armed forces reliably defending peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world. The Korean people and socialist Korea will always win victory under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un. |
