The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea in its article titled "Songun Korea" said:

When looking back on the history of Korea, its appearance one century ago was the miserable one of a weak colonial country.

President Kim Il Sung who pioneered the Songun revolutionary cause put an end to the distress-torn history of the Korean nation.

Kim Il Sung who embarked upon the road of revolution in his teens founded the Juche idea, the Songun idea.

With neither state-backing home front nor assistance of a regular army he organized and waged the anti-Japanese war and accomplished the historic cause of national liberation on Aug. 15, 1945.

He inflicted a heavy defeat upon the U.S. imperialist aggressors when they ignited the Korean war, and honorably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country.

In the postwar period he resolutely smashed the U.S. imperialists' persistent moves for aggression with his Songun leadership.

The Songun revolutionary cause pioneered by Kim Il Sung was successfully carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il who started his Songun revolutionary leadership on Aug. 25, 1960 held higher the banner of Songun late in the 20th century.

He made ceaseless inspections of the army units, preparing its service personnel as fighters strong in idea and faith. He directed primary efforts to the development of the national defence industry, bolstering up the defence capability of the country and turning the whole country into an impregnable fortress.

The DPRK is led by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un who is identical to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The Kim Jong Il Library of Ecuador, the Ecuadorian Group of Youths of Juche and the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship in their articles titled "August 25 of Songun" and "For Peace" praised the immortal Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il.
