Present there on invitation were His Highness Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei Mohamed Bolkiah and his party and Magdalene Teo, Brunei ambassador to DPRK.

Vice-President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly Yang Hyong Sop, Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Pak Kil Yon and officials concerned were present at the banquet.

Speeches were made there.

Pak Ui Chun said that the Brunei government has made efforts to achieve regional peace and stability, development and prosperity as the chair country of ASEAN.

He noted that the DPRK government would boost the bilateral relations with Brunei and closely cooperate with it in the international arena including ASEAN and UN in the future, too.

Mohamed Bolkiah congratulated the Korean people on significantly celebrating the 60th anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

He expressed his belief that the bilateral relations would go stronger through mutual visits, appreciating the close cooperation between the officials of the two foreign ministries.
