DPRK Anniversary to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- The Karelia preparatory committee to mark the 65th anniversary of the DPRK was inaugurated in Russia on Monday. Viktor Yegorov, chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from August 26 to Sept. 12 and decided to organize during these days colorful political and cultural events including seminar and lecture in praise of the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in the nation-building. |
