He extended warm congratulations and solidarity to the Korean people in the run-up to the 65th anniversary of the DPRK.

65 years ago, President Kim Il Sung founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and pursued the original politics of independence and, as a result, the DPRK is demonstrating its dignity and might as an invincible country which no country dares provoke, he said, and went on:

The Songun politics enforced by leader Kim Jong Il put the national power of the DPRK on the highest level.

The Korean people, therefore, could develop the economy, undeterred by incessant threat, interference and pressure of big powers and the West.

The DPRK demonstrating the dignity and might as an independent power is steered by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

I am sure that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people will surely build an economic power and achieve the historic cause of national reunification as they are led by him.
