The statement said that the inter-Korean relations have faced a grave challenge again due to the reckless moves of the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean military maniacs for a nuclear war against the DPRK. The north-south relations have recently assumed the atmosphere of dialogue and cooperation thanks to the bold measures taken by the DPRK on its own initiative and its magnanimity and peace-loving efforts, giving delight to all Koreans and raising their hope, it added.

Reconciliation and frantic nuclear war exercises can not go together, it noted, and went on:

The prevailing situation fully proves that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces are chiefly to blame for increasing tensions and harassing peace as they do not want detente between the north and south of Korea and peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, while playing double games.

All Koreans and peace-loving people do not want war which would bring unspeakable misfortune and pain to the Korean nation but aspire after peace on the Korean Peninsula and stability in Northeast Asia.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces should not misjudge the tremendous might of the DPRK but clearly understand that there is a limit to patience.

The south Korean puppet forces had better stop acting as a puppet of the U.S. imperialists. They should not miss the opportunity of achieving reconciliation and cooperation between the north and the south, being awakened from confrontation dream which goes against the times and public mindset.

The U.S. imperialists and the south Korean military warmongers should not resort to the dangerous saber-rattling which escalates the tensions on the Korean Peninsula, it warned.
