The statement accused the authorities of taking passive attitude towards the crimes related sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army in the past, counting on the relations between south Korea and Japan. This clearly proves that the "government" has no will to settle the issue, the statement noted.

It demanded the present "government" take strong measures to get the apology and reparation for the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists at an earliest possible date.
