They accused the U.S. and south Korean authorities of chilling the hard-won atmosphere of reconciliation and cooperation on the peninsula and increasing the danger of war.

They branded the UFG (Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises) as very dangerous and provocative war drills targeted against the north.

They demanded the U.S. conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK and roll back all its scenarios for the north-targeted nuclear war drills in order to turn the situation on the peninsula to detente from tension and to dialogue from confrontation.

They also urged the U.S. to stop beefing up aggressor forces and pull its forces from south Korea and completely dissolve the "UN Command."

The south Korean authorities should bear in mind that it is the only way for them to give up sycophancy towards the U.S. and implement the three principles of national reunification for independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity, they warned.
