Anti-IS Action Staged in Pusan

| Pyongyang, September 3 (KCNA) -- Representatives of civic and social organizations and citizens in Pusan area of south Korea held a meeting in Pusan on Aug. 30 to denounce the puppet Intelligence Service for cooking up a false case under the pretext of security. Speakers said at the meeting that the IS and prosecution's investigation into the case of rebellion attempted by the Unified Progressive Party was a sheer farce from A to Z. The IS staged a seizure and search operation against the Unified Progressive Party to get rid of its crisis, they said, and went on: The present campaign of suppression means the revival of Park Chung-Hee "yusin". The suppression of the Unified Progressive Party is another "coloring" row aimed at stamping out progressive forces and dividing the opposition camp. They stressed the need to dissolve IS and achieve democratization. They declared they would carry on their actions till the IS case is settled. |
