Birthday of DPRK Marked in Foreign Countries
Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Foreign media carried special write-ups or aired special programs on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the DPRK.

The Cambodian paper Kmae Amata on August 29 carried an article titled "65 years of victory and glory" illustrated with a photo of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK has covered the road of victory and glory for 65 years, the article said, adding that all lines, policies and activities of the DPRK have been strictly geared to defend the independent rights and interests of the popular masses.

The Korean people have made great achievements in all domains of socialist construction in the spirit of "Speed on Masik Pass."

The Apsara Radio Broadcasting Service of Cambodia aired the similar program on August 27.

The September issue of the Pakistani magazine Peak Time dedicated eight pages to the articles such as "President Kim Il Sung is the founding-father of socialist Korea", "Independent power" and "Toward eminence of a thriving nation" illustrated with photos showing the undying exploits of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The magazine also edited the photos introducing the true picture of Songun Korea and the happy life of the Korean people.

Mongolian television on August 22 repeatedly aired the Korean film dealing with the successful launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 and the grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang", winner of Kim Il Sung Prize.
