Koreans in China Call for National Reunification
Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, on Tuesday made public a statement "Let all Koreans pool efforts to drive U.S. imperialist aggression forces out of south Korea and achieve national reunification".

68 years have passed since the U.S. imperialist aggression forces illegally occupied south Korea, the statement said, and went on:

The U.S. imperialist aggression forces occupied half of Korea rejoiced over the liberation from the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists. Since then they have mercilessly suppressed the patriotic struggle of south Korean people at the point of bayonets, pursuing a colonial enslavement policy.

They put politics, military, culture and all other fields of south Korea under their control, bringing immeasurable misfortunes and sufferings, tremendous human and material losses to the Koreans and seeking the permanent division of the Korean nation.

Since the very outset of their occupation of south Korea they have frantically stepped up the arms buildup and intensified war drills against the DPRK, increasing the danger of a nuclear war.

This goes to prove that the Koreans can neither achieve the independence and democracy of south Korean society and national reunification, the unanimous desire of the nation, nor ensure genuine peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula as long as the U.S. imperialist aggression forces are present in south Korea.

All the facts prove that the U.S. troops in south Korea are the arch criminals disturbing peace and stability on the peninsula and the vicious enemy who does not want to see Korea's reunification and the prosperity of the Korean nation.

It is the Koreans who have the decisive strength to drive the U.S. troops out of south Korea.

All of them should pool their efforts and turn out in a patriotic struggle to force the U.S. imperialist aggressor troops out of south Korea at an early date.
