Impressions of DPRK Given by British Political Party Leader
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The September-October issue of the organ of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) carried travelogues on the DPRK contributed by Chairman of its Central Committee Harpal Brar and Vice-chairman and International Secretary Ella Rule under the headline "Celebrations of 60th Victory of Fatherland Liberation War" illustrated with a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung.

The paper said:

On July 27, 1953 the U.S. signed the Korean Armistice Agreement little short of a surrender document, the first of its kind in history.

The delegation of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) and other delegations and delegates of many countries visited the DPRK to celebrate this historic victory together with the Korean people.

The delegation of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) celebrated the victory day with the Korean people to express solidarity with their struggle to fulfill their international obligation towards the world revolution, force the U.S. imperialists out of south Korea and achieve peaceful reunification.

It also supported the Korean people in their cause of defending the sovereignty of their country from the U.S. imperialists' hostile policy.

During its stay in the DPRK the delegation witnessed the energetic external activities conducted by supreme leader Kim Jong Un and keenly realized once again his steadfast will and determination to firmly defend Korean socialism.

The DPRK's initiatives and efforts for peace and the Korean people's desire for peace have faced a grave challenge of the U.S.

But a war did not break out on the Korean Peninsula but peace has been preserved there thanks to the consistent efforts of the Workers' Party of Korea for peace and the DPRK's reliable war deterrence.

In case a new war breaks out, the DPRK will bring a historic end to the U.S.
