Swiss Organizations Demand U.S. and S. Korean Regime Halt Anti-DPRK War Moves

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on August 31 in support of the statement released by the spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK (NDC) "The U.S. and the south Korean authorities should face up to the trend of the times and think twice".

Noting the hard-won atmosphere of reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula is now facing a blatant challenge due to the unjust behaviors of the U.S. imperialists and the puppet clique of south Korea, the statement said:

U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet clique staged the aggressive Ulji Freedom Guardian war drills from August 19 and desperately conducted leaflet scattering operations against the DPRK, once again revealing their sinister design to slander the DPRK and bring down its social system.

In the meantime, the U.S. imperialists let its strategic nuclear bombers fly into south Korea in succession, while noisily calling for the DPRK's "dismantlement of nukes."

This indicates that the "improvement of relations" and "confidence building" touted by the U.S. and south Korean regime are no more than an empty talk aimed to conceal the ulterior motive of reckless warmongers.

We fully support the statement issued by the spokesman for the Policy Department of the NDC of the DPRK.

The U.S. and the south Korean regime should stop the criminal war moves against the DPRK at once.
