Military Families on Jangjae and Mu Islets Move to New Houses
Kangryong, September 6 (KCNA) -- Military families on Jangjae and Mu islets moved to new houses in the run up to the significant 65th birthday of the DPRK.

Barracks, dwelling houses, branch schools and kindergartens on the forefront islets have been successfully rebuilt as required by the era of Songun.

The houses which look like rest homes have living rooms with kitchens and bathrooms attached and other amenities. They are furnished with TV sets and household goods.

Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the Jangjae Islet Defence Detachment and Mu Islet Hero Defence Detachment several times, showing warm loving care for soldiers and military families there.

The builders staged a vigorous drive to rebuild the barracks and houses at the best level to the convenience of soldiers and the military families.

As soon as the designs were completed, they pulled down old buildings and carried out groundwork in a brief span of time. They pushed ahead with the wall building, roofing and outside and inside plastering, giving precedence to the transport of building materials even under the unfavorable situation where they had to bring them by boats. They carried out the projects for building barracks and houses in the spirit of constructing their own houses and built modern branch schools and kindergartens.

The appearance of barracks and houses on the islets has undergone a dramatic change thanks to the devoted efforts of the builders.

Military families moved to new houses on Friday amid best wishes of generals and officers of the KPA.
