Participants laid bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, in Hamhung, South Hamgyong Province and the mosaic depicting Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il with broad smiles on their faces in Wonsan, Kangwon Province and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meetings were the captain and crewmen of the ships.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers said that Kim Il Sung founded the DPRK and performed immortal exploits in strengthening and developing it into a socialist state centered on popular masses.

Kim Jong Il with his unique Songun policy turned the DPRK into a socialist political and military power of Juche and firmly defended the sovereignty of the country and the nation, they noted.

They said that the dignity and might of the DPRK have reached the highest level as the Korean people hold Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem as their supreme leader.

Only victory and glory are in store for the Korean people advancing under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, they stressed.

The messages of greetings to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
