Juche-Based Line of Building Government
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- September 9 marks the 65th birthday of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

With the approach of the day, the Korean people pay highest respects to President Kim Il Sung, who founded the DPRK centered on the popular masses.

Early in Juche 15 (1926) when he was engaged in revolutionary activities at Hwasong Uisuk School, he pictured the kind of government to be built after the country's liberation from the Japanese colonial rule.

In the historic report "The Path of the Korean Revolution" he made at the Kalun Meeting in June 1930, he advanced the Juche-based line of building government.

The line suggested that the to-be-built government be a genuine people's power which serves the popular masses after being organized by themselves and which is based on the worker-peasant alliance led by the working class and relies on the unity of the popular masses of broad social strata.

In the period of the armed struggle he launched against the Japanese invaders, he successfully carried into practice the Juche-based line of building people's government, establishing the people's revolutionary government in guerrilla bases in liberated areas.

The people's revolutionary government established by Kim Il Sung in vast area along the River Tuman in the first half of the 1930s was a predecessor of the people's power in the DPRK after the country's liberation.
