Kim Il Sung Always Finds Himself among Popular Masses
|
|
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- President Kim Il Sung was a peerlessly great man who pioneered the way of building a socialist state centered on popular masses for the first time in history. Regarding the popular masses as masters of politics, he set forth all lines and policies in reflection of their desire and requirements. His politics centered on the popular masses was fully represented in the Agrarian Reform Law, the policy of agricultural cooperativization, the policy of giving priority to the development of heavy industry while simultaneously developing light industry and agriculture and the line of simultaneously pushing ahead with the economic construction and defence building. Kim Il Sung pressed ahead with socialist construction in reliance upon the people, sharing the sweets and bitters with them. In the postwar days when the country was in hard time, he went to the Kangson Steel Plant to call upon its workers to boost production, saying that he believed them and they believed him and appealing to them to tide over the difficulties. There were days when he sat knee to knee with peasants to discuss farming and when he personally selected a site for building a reservoir with a torch in his hand. He had made ceaseless field guidance to all parts of the country in disregard of weather conditions and holidays. That is why the DPRK people are sorely missing Kim Il Sung, who devoted his all to the wellbeing of the people. |
