In the message the Bangladeshi president, on behalf of the Bangladeshi people and on his own behalf, extended the warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the people of the DPRK on the 65th anniversary of the country.

Noting that the deep-rooted and excellent bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the DPRK have developed on the principle of peaceful co-existence, trust, equality and reciprocity, he expressed the belief that the relations of friendship and cooperation would grow stronger.

He extended best regards to Kim Jong Un, sincerely wishing him happiness in good health and the friendly people of the DPRK durable peace and sustained advance and prosperity.
